現年17歲的傑西歌聲完全感覺不到任何的稚氣，充份展現不同於同齡歌手成熟穩重並帶點R&B靈魂的唱腔。7歲便開始站在表演的舞台上，先後加入「Sugar Beats」、「Dream Street」兩個少年團體，不但累積了許多表演經驗，更擁有許多死忠擁護的歌迷，而他的演技也不容小覷，還曾經獲得艾美獎2項提名。2003年傑西與好萊塢唱片公司(Hollywood)簽約，成為音樂小甜心希拉蕊的師弟。
